Not gonna lie \u2013 making video material in a long time is really awkward. Previous times when I was editing videos I was just focusing on editing. I didn\u2019t film the material. I actually prefer the editing and find it fun. I just wanted to film some material so that I could make new samples of my editing and try to see if I could make some extra money beside the studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OBS and Premiere<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Haven\u2019t been recording video footage in years so had a painfull realization. OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) will make it easier for me to record with pre amp at the same time as using Canon as the video source so that I don\u2019t have to sync image and sound afterwards. It felt like a really good plan at first. Then I noticed that the default format for OBS output doesn\u2019t work directly with Adobe Premiere version I have.

Crying out loud! Next time I\u2019ll make sure not to forget the file output format.. It\u2019s going to take a chunk of time just to convert the material for editing. Next time I\u2019ll make sure I\u2019ve double checked the video output settings.

Working things out<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m casually looking into job openings while studying but the IT industry has been in a turmoil. So I thought to myself maybe I should be open to do something else to make some money. And see If I manage to work on my own projects. I\u2019m still not feeling a 100 percent but I try to get myself to do as much as I can on regular weekdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ll be brainstorming and creating something new but I take my time since I have to constantly learn something new on the go or update my knowledge. And there\u2019s only so much capacity I have during a day. I try to recognize my limits and avoid feeling too overwhelmed. I get tired in less than the regular 8-hours so balancing is the key.

A tiny progress<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m kind of happy to see that I\u2019ve actually started to get some things done. And I\u2019ve been more consistent with writing practise too. Hoping to get more fit for summer and started working towards that goal already. I\u2019m working towards being more consistent with everything. Reminding myself that every time I\u2019m able to do even just a little it\u2019s always better than nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hope those aren\u2019t my famous last words before re-lapsing to a bag of chips and doomscrolling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
