Haven’t been drawing with markers for a while. My previous markers ran out of ink and I didn’t have the patience to wait for a new set to arrive on mail so I grabbed Manga set from a local store. Markers are waterproof and the set consists of a brush marker, a 0.7mm mechanical pencil plus four markers sized 01, 03, 05 and 1.

The markers are an OK all-rounder set

The sizes cover basic needs and I really like the addition of Pigma Brush to the set. Mechanical pencil is a bit above average quality but not a “wow” -factor. I tend to use pencils for sketching anyways. If I haven’t got filling colors in hand I sometimes attempt to do grey parts with a pencil also. I should propably color things I’ve drawn more properly. And sometimes I do color them digitally afterwards but not always.

The ink dries quite fast which is nice. It’ll be interesting to see how long the Pigma Brush holds out in use. I also own a brush pen from Pentel and I should definitely draw something using both of the brush pens for fun. I absolutely love the Pentel brush pen! It’s so satisfying and flowy<3 My favorite brush pen that I’ve used so far. I just need to buy ink re-fills to use it again.
